Trail riding is addictive. As I prepared this 20th annual Ride List I wondered what makes it so appealing to so many different types of people. In a conversation with Skeeter Wall he said it was all about memories. You ride and create wonderful memories of friends and good times. You want to come back to the ride the next year to relive those memories and create new ones! I personally have enough fantastic memories to last several people a lifetime and I still look forward to 20 more years of participating in rides that create a lifetime of memories. Wont’ you join me on the trails? Look for Rosey or Cremator and ask me how they got their names.

Also on this occasion, I need to thank the many people who have helped produce this list over the past 20 years. With over 3500 mailed last year, it is a huge undertaking that would never get accomplished without much assistance. Many thanks to the following who have helped make this happen for the past 20 years! Betty Smith, Brenda Sue and Linda (I named a pair of mules after these two), Nancy Williams, Susie Chaffin, C. J. Palmer, Linda Selby and Rosemary Spence. I do appreciate all of these people and the time they have given to the Ride List and me. Without them, it would never have happened.

In an effort to produce the Ride List earlier, ride notices received after December 31, 2003 will not be included in the printed list but will be added to the website at www.JudgesRideList.com.

Please let me know how many years your ride has been going on when you send me dates for 2004.

The Georgia Horse Council offers one million dollars in excess liability insurance with each individual or family membership.
